While I was reading through the news on the web today I noticed something called Blood Gang Initiation. Just saying these words out loud sounds disgusting! The concept of it is even more sickening. A Blood Gang Initiation is a group of members that plot out to do evil things a day before Halloween. They pick random people on the street and attack them physically. This is really disturbing and I hope Blood Gang Initiation comes to an end this year.

i am 14 so i am a teenager my self and i am posting that i think this whole idea and concept is really stupid and idiotic and i hope that with this whole pointless crap going on that everyone stays safe and no one gets hurt and i hope this comes to an end because the point of attacking people physically is really pointless and it makes no sense. i hope this really ends today
i mean come on how is there any way to be safe in this world anymore…there isnt its either u live today and die tomorrow or u just get lucky and live long enough to prove a point
I just don’t understand how the gang members manage to plan and execute these attacks when higher officials are knowledgeable and aware of there attempts to kill countless females.it makes no sense I feel that if the police knows then they should make it there business to be on every block to ensure public safety.
This is true. I live in the bronx, girls have gotten sliced already its crazy. becareful shit is wild the halloween weekend is crazyy and its not being show on the news. Girls becareful!
what i dont understand is how come the cops are so quick to gun down harmless men and not so quick to put ass holes like these gang bangers in jail you know wat i think these bloods need to be gunned down
honestly , i cant believe this, i still go to high school and its not even safe there, 20 minutes after lunch a girl got sliced, now i winder if police is aware then why the hell isnt it already everywhere making sure this kind of shit dosen’t happen, this really pisses me off, i am girl, and it is not fair for me or any other girl to have to constantly be afraid that someone might jump them or worse, but after all police isnt always good, i am sure that alot of them are part of it, i mean come on.

Yea, I live in Newark and I heard about some shootings at some local High schools…It sucks, I’ve been looking all over for some kind of news about it but I haven’t gotten anything. I just wonder why they don’t just go after other gang members…I mean why do they have to go after innocent people? It’s so stupid.
Li… non-gang members are referred to “neutrals” and from my knowledge, Bloods started out focused and even kinda ethical, they had strict “codes”… Here in NY though they organized into the UBN (represented by 031, hence the 31st day and killing 31 neutrals) in Rikers island prison, or United Blood Nation, and things started getting outta line once it left and got big. My brother was with them a few years back, they started slashing up neutrals, one life for your life as a blood and you were in, that was one type of initiation depending on your set. Its sick I agree, and not all gangs use these kind of violent tactics. I think most gangs are a waste of time in a broader aspect, going beyond the local community… Its bullshit and its a lifestyle you should REALLY think twice before getting involved with. My few cents.
Yeah, I live in Jersey, and my school had a rapid dismissal yesterday. They didn’t exactly tell us why, but we already knew. Girls were already shot at Bayonne. St. Dominic’s Academy had the parents come in to take the students early, and Marist shut down early. & then later, we’ve got more shootings around Newark Ave. & Monticello Ave. Their were rumors that they were only going for white girls, and there were some saying that they were after girls wearing blue, and more saying that each member had to kill 31. Today, I heard it was supposed to be 40 boys, or anybody else. I hope that no one was hurt, but mad boys didn’t show up at my school today.
They’re not showing it on the news because they think it’s just a joke to scare people. But this shit is real. They just can’t face the reality that gang member violence is out THERE. All they care about is that it might be a waste of time. Well, YEAH, it MAY be a waste of time if it’s fake–but it’s NOT. People are DYING out there, and they didn’t even bother to warn people. That’s bullshit.
This just proves the government doesn’t care about us. All it wants us to confirm that at least a LOT of people are left alive and paying their taxes. They don’t care about us.

Some of them have masks on so watch out . Even people without school are being cut and I have friend crying because so many people have been cut. Ladies please be careful. The news is taking this as a joke and not showing anything because they haven’t seen anything for themelves but many people have and it’s really ridiculous. I didnt really pay much attention of knowing that Blood initiation day was the day b4 halloween and halloween, and my friiend told me that on halloween she got followed by herself by some group of guys she has seen around her neighborhood and they kept following her then eventually was chasing her but somehow she ran them down where their was police. I noticed that when i went out on halloween with a group of my girlfriends we kept getting a spooky feeling of being watched or followed. I relly hope this wasnt a sign of the Bloods. I hope everyone stays safe. BE careful and try and stay close to adults you know and stay in pairs NOT by yourself.

Police officers working with the DARE program has issued this warning: If you are driving after dark and see an on-coming car with no headlights on, DO NOT FLASH YOUR LIGHTS AT THEM! This is a common Bloods gang member “initiation game” that goes like this:
The new gang member under initiation drives along with no headlights, and the first car to flash their headlights at him is now his “target”. He is now required to turn around and chase that car, then shoot and kill every individual in the vehicle in order to complete his initiation requirements.
Police Depts across the nation are being warned that September 23rd and 24th is the “blood” initiation weekend. Their intent is to have all the new bloods nationwide drive around on Friday and Saturday nights with their headlights off. In order to be accepted into the gang, they have to shoot and kill all individuals in the first auto that does a courtesy flash to warn them that their lights are off. Make sure you share this information with all the drivers in your family!
