Today I saw a video on CNN where a girl swallowed an AA battery.  She is 3 years old and lives in Afghanistan.  Her 16-year old brother gave her an AA battery to play with (what a ridiculous idea) and she ended up swallowing it.  Unfortunately it costs too much to pay for her surgery, but she is good for now.  Something happened to her esophagus and she can’t talk.  Here is the CCN Video of Girl Swallows battery.
